Turkey could potentially attack Kurdish militants with Iran’s help

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that Turkey is discussing the possibility of a joint operation with Iran, against Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) militants in the northern Iraq region of Qandil, which is close to Iran’s border.

Cavusoglu speaking of Iran said, “PKK is a threat to them as well. Qandil is very close to the Iran border…We will improve cooperation with Iran.”
