More than 25 Houthis killed in clashes in Al-Baydah province in Yemen

LONDON: Clashes in Al-Baydah province in Yemen left 25 Houthi militia dead and several others injured.

The commander of Yemeni army 137 brigade said that heavy clashes took place Sunday between Yemeni army forces and Iran backed Houthi militia in ‘Malajem’ district of Al-Baidah province south east of Yemen.

The commander added that more than 25 Houthi militia were killed among them a senior commander and several others injured. The Saudi-led Arab coalition gave air support during the battle and destroyed 6 militia vehicles transporting supplies and reinforcement the Yemeni commander told the armed forces media office.
