TEHRAN, Iran: Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s chief of staff guarantees the president rejected eight solicitations from President Donald Trump a year ago for one-on-one talks.

It’s the most recent remark from Tehran proposing Iran isn’t set up to leave on two-sided arrangements with Washington.

Trump not long ago hauled America out of the international deal intended to keep Tehran from building up a nuclear weapon.

He said a week ago that with expanded American approvals, “at one point they will call me and say ‘let’s make an arrangement.'”

On Thursday, state-owned IRAN newspaper cited Rouhani’s chief of staff Mahmoud Vaezi saying that “it’s been the reverse, up until this point,” with Trump looking to start talks.

Also, he says Iran dismissed the solicitations from the US for the two presidents to meet finally year’s UN General Assembly meeting.
