On July 26, Mohammed Tareq Ibraham Dar Youssef, 17, broke into the settlement of Adam and stabbed three individuals, executing Yotam Ovadia, 31. One of those injured in the assault lethally shot and murdered the Palestinian, the military said.

At the scene in the video clip provided by the military, Lieutenant-Colonel Liron Appleman, a battalion commander said: “We entered (the town) today to close a circle and we decimated the fear based oppressor’s home.”

“Many Palestinians flung shakes, firebombs and pipe bombs at the troops, who reacted with riot dispersal means. Also, none of the soldiers was harmed. There were no quick reports of any Palestinian wounds,” the military said in an announcement.

Since late 2015, despite the fact that stabbings and car-rammings did by Palestinians have turned out to be less incessant in the West Bank, strains have stayed high in the result of U.S. President Donald Trump’s acknowledgment of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in December.
