Tunisia expects economic growth to accelerate to 3.5 percent next year

On Wednesday, a minister said that Tunisia anticipates that economic development will quicken to 3.5 percent one year from now from the 2.9 percent expected in 2018, driven by a recuperation in the tourism business and development in agricultural sector.

“The administration intended to decrease the spending shortage to 3.9 percent of GDP one year from now from the 4.9 percent estimate for 2018,” Minister of Reforms Taoufik Rajhi said.
