Israeli forces detained nine Palestinians, including a woman, in overnight and early morning raids in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, said the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) in a statement.
Forces detained 19-year-old Fatima Yehya Suleiman, from Beit Safafa neighborhood of occupied East Jerusalem after raiding her family home early this morning, said the PPS. Another unidentified minor from Jerusalem was also detained.
The PPS said soldiers detained five Palestinians in their mid-20s, most of them former prisoners from the town of Azzoun in the Qalqilya district in the north of the West Bank, while they were in al-Zawiyeh village in the Salfit district.
Soldiers also detained two people from the Hebron district.
