Saudi Arabia recorded another drop in coronavirus infections and has detected 769 new cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections in the Kingdom to 321,456, the Ministry of Health announced on Monday.
The new daily reported COVID-19 fatalities also decreased, the ministry said. Twenty-six people died due to complications caused by the virus in the past 24 hours, which raises the coronavirus death toll to 4,107.
Meanwhile, the total number of recoveries in Saudi Arabia rose to 297,623 after 886 people recovered.
The number of critical cases has also decreased by six percent, the health ministry spokesperson Mohammed al-Abd al-Ali had said on Sunday.
The largest group of people to be affected by the coronavirus in Saudi Arabia is the youth in the country, he said, urging all members of the public to follow preventative measures to help contain the outbreak.
Al-Abd al-Ali also advised those infected with the virus to quarantine for at least 14 days to ensure they do not infect others.
