Palestine recorded 25 deaths and 1,750 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila Saturday.
The new deaths involved nine in the West Bank, five in Jerusalem City and 11 in Gaza Strip.
The recovery rate in Palestine stands at 80.7 percent, while the active case rate is 18.4 percent and the death rate is 0.9 percent.
The new coronavirus cases include 94 in Hebron; 90 in Jenin; 118 in Nablus; 67 in Tulkarem; 144 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 31 in Salfit; 24 in Qalqilya; seven in Tubas; 87 in Bethlehem; eight in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 58 in the suburbs of Jerusalem; 146 in Jerusalem City and 876 in Gaza Strip.
The recovery cases included 208 in Hebron; 189 in Jenin; 114 in Nablus; 97 in Tulkarem; 31 in Salfit; 25 in Tubas; 154 in Ramallah and Al-Bireh; 580 in Gaza Strip; 361 in the suburbs of Jerusalem; and 114 in Jerusalem City.
Currently, 128 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and 31 are on ventilators.
Saturday, 4,695 PCR tests were conducted.
