Turkey to resume arrangements for mass vaccination


Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the mass vaccination procedure against the coronavirus pandemic would soon begin.

The country’s Health Ministry has been rsuming its works to initiate the vaccination procedure corresponding to a calendar, stated Erdogan while addressing reporters in Istanbul after Friday prayers.

Erdogan noted: “currently, we have three (vaccine) sources, namely from China, Germany, and our domestic (products).”

The first shipment of 3 million doses of Chinese SinoVac coronavirus vaccine had reached Turkey’s capital Ankara on Dec. 30, 2020.
