MEA – An Israeli security source told the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper that the military operation in Gaza may continue until Sunday.
The source said, “If the achievements continue in Gaza, it would be right to proceed with the ceasefire.”
The security source added, “We have not yet come to this matter, there are some other things that must be done. It will not happen tomorrow, and it will take two or three days, and then international pressure will start next week.”
Estimates in Israel indicate that the United States will give Tel Aviv an outlet to continue the operation until Sunday. This came after the arrival of the United States’ special envoy to the Middle East, Hadi Amr, to Tel Aviv, Thursday, to discuss the truce between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
